REVIVE® Vehicle Workshop – A Door-to-Door EV Battery Repair Service
At Autocraft EV Solutions, we have launched our first REVIVE® Vehicle Workshop at our new facility in Long Bennington, Lincolnshire to deliver a fully integrated, end-to-end solution for electric vehicle battery repair.
We provide a seamless, door-to-door service designed to simplify EV battery repairs for OEMs, dealer networks, insurers and customers. Vehicles are collected directly from dealerships and garage network sites, and brought to our REVIVE® Vehicle Workshop in Long Bennington where we safely remove the battery. It is then transferred to our REVIVE® Battery Workshop in Grantham, where it is tested using our world class OptEVizer® advanced diagnostics, and then repaired or remanufactured before being returned to the REVIVE® Vehicle Workshop for reinstallation into the vehicle. The vehicle is then delivered back to the customer, minimising downtime while maintaining the highest standards of safety and quality.
Our streamlined process means customers can hand over their keys and receive their vehicle back fully repaired, reducing complexity and cost across the entire repair journey.
Driving Efficiency and Confidence in EV Ownership
We have designed the REVIVE® model to tackle some of the biggest challenges in EV ownership, including battery longevity, cost and sustainability. By focusing on targeted, cell-level repair rather than full battery replacement, we can identify and resolve faults at their source, restoring batteries to over 90% of their original performance in most cases.
This approach not only improves efficiency but also helps build confidence in EVs by showing that battery issues can be resolved quickly, effectively and cost-efficiently.
Supporting a Circular Economy
Our REVIVE® model is built on circular economy principles. Instead of replacing entire battery packs, we prioritise repair, reuse and remanufacture, reducing waste and lowering the demand for new raw materials.
In most cases, battery failures are caused by individual components rather than complete system failure, making repair a practical and sustainable solution.
Environmental Benefits
By extending the life of EV batteries, we significantly reduce the environmental impact associated with manufacturing new ones. Repairing and remanufacturing helps cut carbon emissions and supports the industry’s transition to Net Zero.
For example, remanufacturing a large EV battery can save around 12 tonnes of CO₂, the equivalent of approximately seven flights from London to Sydney. Through our REVIVE® process, we are helping make electric vehicles a more sustainable, long-term transport solution.
