Autocraft supports Grantham’s 35th Rotary Club Swimarathon!

Autocraft Solutions Group were delighted to support the Grantham Swimarathon’s 35th Anniversary as a Platinum Sponsor. Organised by the Rotary Club of Grantham, the event took place over 3 days during the weekend of 2-4 Feb 2024, and was a huge success. While it’s estimated that this year’s event has already raised over £40,000 with more funds and gift aid to follow, the Swimarathon Committee are confident they have surpassed the £1 million mark of funds raised since the Swimarathon started in 1990!

The Rotary Club’s annual Swimarathon raises for local charities and deserving causes in and around Grantham.

Having previously supported the event as a Gold Sponsor in 2023, Martin Conron, Quality Manager at Autocraft Drivetrain Solutions in Grantham was the driving force behind Autocraft’s participation once again.  Martin commented “I was very pleased that Autocraft was able to support this very important local event for a second year, this time as a Platinum Sponsor. The money raised really makes a difference to the charities and causes in our local area.”

The RotarySwimarathon is the biggest fundraiser and participation event held in Grantham with over 1200 participants. The money is raised by teams of up to 6 swimmers swimming in relay for 50 mins and obtaining their own sponsors, along with local event sponsors such as Autocraft.
