Vertex exhibits at ‘Backing Britain’, the UK Industry’s First Virtual Expo of Its Kind

Beginning August 17th, Vertex attended Backing Britain Live,  a two-week business festival run by the Made in Group. Originally scheduled to be held at Coventry’s Ricoh Arena, the advent of social distancing has meant this event was transformed into a first of its kind virtual exhibition.

Visitors to Vertex’s stand were able to engage with Vertex’s staff virtually from the safety and comfort of their office or home. Visitors were able to live chat with staff, view videos and stand graphics showing Vertex’s capabilities, download brochures and attend the many webinars held by the event organisers.

This groundbreaking event will include keynote speeches from industry leaders such as CEO of Gardner Aerospace Dominic Cartwright and CCO of Brompton Bicycle Stephen Loftus, alongside networking areas and over 160 manufacturing exhibitors. The group’s aim is to promote, inspire and share best practice within UK manufacturing.
